In 2016, he founded “The Brain Spa” to promote the concept of “Brain Health” over “Mental Health.” He is a member of the American Psychiatric Association.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Treatment

The Brain Spa proudly offers Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy ("HBOT") treatments. "HBOT" is designed to increase the amount of oxygen that our bodies can absorb at the cellular level. This treatment supplies oxygen in a sealed chamber at higher-than-normal atmospheric pressure, which allows the oxygen to dissolve easily into liquids such as blood plasma and/or cerebrospinal fluid.

The body’s absorption of pressurized oxygen is reported to be beneficial for a wide range of medical and psychiatric ailments, studied over the years with positive results for certain medical/psychiatric conditions such as Plastic Surgery/wound healing, Depression, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Anxiety, ADHD, Post Stroke Recovery, Traumatic Brain Injury/Concussion recovery, Sports Injuries/Muscle recovery, Autoimmune Conditions, Vascular Dementia, Neuropathy, Chronic pain, Chronic Fatigue; Sleep enhancement; Fibromyalgia, Long COVID19 Syndrome. HBOT treatment helps with General Wellness/Vitality and is widely used for skin rejuvenation. HBOT was designed for athletes in general (NFL, PGA, MBL).

This treatment is intended to enhance your brain function by increasing oxygen levels with elevated atmospheric pressure, which may reduce chronic inflammation potentially facilitating neuroplasticity, neurogenesis, angiogenesis and cytokine reduction, which augment tissue repair and enhanced immune function.

Here at the Brain Spa, we are focused on innovation, we want to improve your mental health and wellness in general. Call 561-406-6561 for more information, packages and appointments. Service is not covered by insurance companies yet but is accessible to the public in general.
